WTB Header for 20r
I'm looking for a header for my 79 Corona Wagon 20r, I've been lurking around and haven't really been successful in finding any, if I can't find a header, I would be down to get another stock manifold in really good condition.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Actually found some Pacesetter's for the 78-85 Celica, and was reading that we could use the Celica header and may end up going this route. Has anyone else done this or know anyone that has and what their experiences with this setup?

22R and 20R exhaust parts are interchangeable. No guarantees on direct fit. I bought a Hooker truck header for my 77 Celica LB. The collector had to be modified a bit to clear the firewall, but this is a quick job with a 4.5 " angle grinder and a mig welder.

I don't recommend the pacesetters because the egr tubes don't fit correctly.

Re: WTB Header for 20r
Pacesetters are junk. The best is the Thorley Tri-Y, but they are like finding hen's teeth - the proverbial needle in the haystack. Next best is the OBX, which is stainless steel, so should outlive the car. The only problem with it is the O2 sensor tube. If you have an O2 sensor, cut the stupid tube off and have a bung welded directly to the collector in it's place. If you don't have an O2 sensor, cut the tube off and have it welded shut. Oh, and use an exhaust manifold gasket for an '83-'84 22R/RE (Celica). And yes, '78-'85 Celica is a direct bolt in, the truck is not.

Thanks everyone for all the input. I have really been looking into the Thorley and the LC engineering and as you mentioned have noticed the extreme shortage or extremely chunky prices that go along with them. I saw a site that sold the OBX, however I have always questioned their products, since a few years ago y buddy bought an OBX header for his ae86 and the fitment was horrible, and it didn't sound all too pleasant. haha But I'm down to try it out, I have seen quite a few disgruntled reviews on the pacesetter and hedman ones. How was your experience with the OBX, and does anyone know off hand any Thorley ones available. So far I have been unsuccessful in my search, except very few that are close to 500.

Like I said, the Thorley is like a needle in a haystack. They are trying for a group buy over on celica-gts.com to get them to make a run of them. When I bought mine 14 years ago, there was one hell of a wait list.
I installed an OBX about a year ago and it was a piece of cake, and another friend put one on about six months ago, and his only issue was the stupid O2 sensor tube. Once he had a bung welded onto the collector in place of the tube at a friend of mine's exhaust shop, his 22RE ran better than ever.
