Just got this back to the garage this evening.

After a strange scenario in buying this..

The story goes.. The person I bought it initially rang me a week or so ago to buy some wheels from me for it.. we did a deal on the wheels and he was to collect them a few days later.

Then we got talking etc & a few days later he said he wanted to sell the car & I said I was interested..

He passed me details/fotos & we did a deal... and I picked it up today...

Right as you onow its my 2nd RT40 as the other one is under restoration :-)

I love the Red Colour on this although the doors are painted with a different shade..
Its MOT'd till next DEC13
And Taxed (Free) till OCT13
Came with a good few spares to which im going to use for the other RT40..
Only showing 2 owners..

The Plan...well im going to give it a full respray and thats about it. Everything is in working order, the owner stated it was rattling underneath and possibly the bottom end is on its way out, but after a quick check by my mechanic he said it seems fine, not losing oil, nor burning it, just needs a good service/plug change & good oil.
The only other fault is the electronic choke choke isnt working so a manual one may do the trick which was supplied :-)
Rear arches need a little work, and sills cleaning up.

Without further a do, some fotos :-
