Possible coilovers for the front
Have been loking for an upgrade for the front....It hit me a mustang II front end has super short shocks and much like the corona . only problem is the bottom mount . would need a press to pop out the mustang and press in the coronas mount .
heres a link at one that ive been looking at . stock extended shock length is 13.5 inchs and avg for the mustang is 12 inchs but who really likes that stock gap between the fender and tire lol .

and a pic of the stock .

It should work as long as you can get the bottom mount fitting pressed in . any thoughts ?

I don't see any problem with the idea you have but summit racing has some universal coil over set up for around the same price check them out

I am looking into trying these out, because I have ready access to a press. I want to try with pick n pull parts, before I pull the trigger on a $500 set of coilovers..

Well after some research and some cross referencing..... pretty much any gm muscle car with a double wishbone front end and leaf rears will fit . just type in the part number and kyb will tell you what else also shares the same shocks.... ksport and others make real coil overs that will fit my 72 corona .
